Swim - 1500m.  In sheltered canal

Cycle - 40km. Undulating out and back course on the Noosa - Cooroy Road

Run - 10km.  Flat, one lap out and back course through Noosa Sound

Over 8,000 national and international competitors in the Festival and 5,600 in the Triathlon.  

History

The Noosa triathlon celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2007. It is the oldest, biggest and most established race in Australian triathlon history. It is the largest triathlon in the Southern Hemisphere.
