General Info:

REV3 Costa Rica will take place in the Central Pacific region of Guanacaste. You will witness amazing beauty, wildlife, and terrific weather as you race.  REV3 Costa Rica will offer a series of triathlons for kids aged 9-13, Sprint Rev,  Olympic Rev, and a Half Rev.  In addition to some great racing, there will be a ton of fun things to do for the entire family.

Day March 19: Arenal Adventure

Savor an early morning cup of Costa Rica's coffee and a hearty breakfast before hopping in the van with your guide for the 3 hours drive to Arenal. Stop and stretch your legs while enjoying a typical Tico lunch.  

You have included in this afternoon the EcoThermals; you can relax in the nearby hot-springs locally owned by Dona Mireya and her family.

There are five naturally-fed pools of different temperatures, one of which is always the perfect temperature for relaxing as the sun sets. Dinner is a wonderful home-style meal served in a rustic wooden ranch can relax in private hot spring waters Overnight in Arenal Observatory Lodge (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

 

Day March 20: Rafting Adventure & The Fortuna Waterfall

You will enjoy La Fortuna Waterfall; you have to walk five hundred meters into the forest to get to the waterfall, which is 70 meters high. At the base of the waterfall there is a “natural pool” where we can swim in the fresh water of La Fortuna River for about one hour

We continue our adventure with day of white water rafting on the river, stopping for lunch on the river banks. Overnight in Arenal Observatory Lodge (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

Day March 21: Sky Adventure Hanging Bridges & Sky Trek and Tram

We continue our Costa Rica adventures exploring the rain forest canopy with our guide on a series of hanging bridges winding through the old growth forest surrounding the Arenal Volcano.

Children and adults will be thrilled with our next adventure, Prepare for an exciting day of adventures as we board the Sky Tram gondolas for a ride upward through the forest to the highest point of Arenal Reserve to begin the sky trek adventure, one of the most exhilarating zip line canopy tours in Costa Rica. The system includes 8 cross-sectional cables with a total length of 1.75 miles and 66-660 feet above the ground. Overnight Arenal Observatory Lodge (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Included)

 Optional Extra Day: Cloud Forest

Traveling past lush farmlands and verdant forests, we reach the Los Angeles Cloud Forest in San Ramon, a small farming community in the heart of the Costa Rican Central Highlands.

From our tranquil hacienda featuring twenty cozy chalets with private baths and plenty of charm, we explore the adjacent Los Angeles Cloud Forest on trails that wind through lush tropical cloud-forests up to 6,000 feet. After dark, our guide takes us on a night walk in the forest to observe the variety of nocturnal insects and wildlife Overnight Villa Blanca Cloud Forest (Breakfast  Included)
